Recent Branch Initiatives

We have had 1 branch meeting since the February Board Meeting. As previously reported, we have reduced meetings to bi-monthly and reminders are sent out the day before or day of the meeting.

We co-hosted a social work "Round Up Luncheon" during social work week. Our partner was Sault Area Hospital social work department. It was fairly well attended - approximately 14 social workers, plus 2 SW/SSW students. Most were members of OASW.

Our AGM took place May 20th.

Social Work Week

We had a networking lunch, where members were invited to talk about their organization, including what services are currently provided. We sent posters to organizations to help with awareness of SW Week and social work.
