Coordinated, in partnership with Whitby Mental Health, a Mindfulness Workshop. Rob Pepler, who is a Board member with the Durham Branch, was one of the facilitators. It was held at Whitby Mental Health and we had great representation from the Durham OASW members.

Our Annual General Meeting was held in October. The Board sent out a survey asking members for feedback on various issues and ideas, including the possibility of changing our name to better reflect the geographic area that this branch covers. We are looking at renaming it the Kawartha/Durham Branch.

We co-hosted with Northern Lights Canada and the Oshawa/Durham Rape Crisis Centre the first annual Women and Health Forum. The event was held in Whitby with approximately 80-90 people in attendance. One of the Board members facilitated a workshop on building healthy relationships.
