Recent Branch Events

The Branch held a Fall Forum – CODE RED: ONE YEAR LATER on November 11, 2011 at the
Hamilton Chamber of Commerce.
The Branch held a pre-election dialogue on health and social issues on September 14, 2011.

Social Work Week

• A full-day event with speaker was held in March
• Plan to continue sponsorship/co-hosting events in community as budget allows

Annual General Meeting

The Branch held its AGM on February 18th at the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce. The theme was “Workplace Harassment: What You Need to Know …” The following topics were discussed: It’s All About Power, Ontario Human Rights Code and Bill 168, Is It Harassment? Remedies. The guest speaker was Krista Warnke, Public Educator, Sexual Assault Centre Hamilton Area.
