Recent Branch Initiatives

The Annual General Meeting was held on May 29, 2008. At that time, elections were held for the new Branch President. Our Keynote Speaker was Nancy Stevens who discussed "Isms" - Diversity in Social Work".

Social Work Week

We held a Speaker Series on March 5, 2008 which was very informative and enlightening for many of those in attendance. The diversity theme was well addressed by the three speakers; Brian Slegers, Malia Bender and Marc Bedard. The event was attended by social work students, professors and community members.
