Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work Award for Excellence in Practicum Education

The Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work at University of Toronto values excellence in teaching and contributions to its educational programs through curriculum development, innovation in practice education, and research on education. Annual teaching awards are given to recognize outstanding contributions to education.  

These field instructors are both nominated by their students and described as not only demonstrating excellence in teaching, but also demonstrating excellence in social work practice and a commitment to the values and ethics of the profession. 

The Beverley Antle OASW Scholarship

OASW has established a scholarship through the University of Toronto Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work in the memory of Beverley Antle. Beverley received her PhD at U of T. As well, she was an Adjunct Associate Professor at the faculty, where she taught courses on health, illness and disability, and integration of research and practice. Criteria for this endowment fund was established in conjunction with Beverley's family.
