OASW Mailing Lists
OASW's membership list is occasionally provided to carefully screened companies who advertise services with relevance to social workers. The information can be provided to you in one of three formats:
Pressure-sensitive (peel-and-stick) labels
- Comma-delimited ASCII file on diskette or by email (a format which can be used in most word processors or database programs). Mailing houses can use this format also.
We require a copy of the information you wish to send to our membership for approval before the labels can be produced. A fax copy or email file is acceptable.
Requests for labels are approved by the Executive Director based on whether they would be of interest to our members and would not be in competition with the Association's services.
The purchase of labels is for one-time use only, as our membership constantly changes with new members joining and others moving. As well, each mailing must be approved separately.
Cost: 20 cents per label plus GST. There is a minimum charge of $100.00 plus GST.
Our membership is approximately 3,500 members across Ontario.
Requests can be further defined by selecting:
- categories of members (e.g. unemployed, employed full-time)
- area of the province (our list is divided into 15 branches)
- selecting postal code area(s)
- employment practice field
(Please note: Not all members are coded by employment practice field. Let us know if you wish to include these uncoded members.)
