A PROFOUND LOSS FOR THE PROFESSION

On behalf of the Board of Directors of OASW, it is with profound sadness that we are letting you know that our President, Beverley Antle, died in a car accident in Toronto on Saturday morning, November 11, 2006.

Beverley's warmth, generosity, energy and vision were well known to everyone who knew her, as were her unwavering commitment and devotion to social work values, the profession and the Association.

In the truest sense of the word, Beverley was an extraordinary woman and her loss will be deeply felt at a personal and a professional level across the country.
