The Canadian Association of Social Workers (CASW) Code of Ethics (2005)
This Code of Ethics is consistent with the International Federation of Social Workers (IFSW) International Declaration of Ethical Principles of Social Work (1994, 2004), which requires members of the CASW to uphold the values and principles established by both the CASW and the IFSW. 

The Canadian Association of Social Workers (CASW) Guidelines for Ethical Practice (2005)
These guidelines serve as a companion document to the CASW Code of Ethics and provide guidance on ethical practice by applying values and principles in the Code to common areas of social work practice. 

Evidence-Based Practice for Social Work: Friend or Foe? (2009)
This article briefly presents the benefits and pitfalls of evidence-based practice by considering philosophical, scientific, and ethical arguments. The principles and values of evidence-based practice will be explored within the framework of social work's Codes of Ethics and Standards of Practice.
