OASW Kingston Branch Area Fall 2019 Professional Development Day
The Fall 2019 Professional Development Day offers Social Workers from Kingston and the surrounding area the opportunity to connect with one another, the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and the Ontario Association of Social Workers all while enjoying the scenery at the Little Cataraqui Creek Conservation Area. Our afternoon will begin with a light luncheon followed by presentations from the OCSWSSW and the OASW. The OCSWSSW Professional Practice Leader will speak about the mission, mandate and impact of the college as well as the Continuing Competency Program. The new OASW President will join us to speak about current issues in the field of Social Work and the Association’s mission. There will also be plenty of time for questions for both presenters. This is a rare opportunity to share an afternoon with representatives from both the College and the Association!
