Research confirms, the value of social workers is not well understood. With government funding dollars under pressure, understanding the value of social workers, and seeing them as a vital and relevant resource, is critical to the long-term success and growth of the profession. It is equally vital that the public see social workers as relevant to them and consider them an expert resource.
