Meet with your MPP

During Social Work Week, OASW encourages you to request a meeting with your local MPP to introduce yourself as a constituent in their riding as well as thank them for their support in passing the Psychotherapy Act, 2007. The recent proclamation of this complete act is a momentous achievement for our profession and should be celebrated! It also offers a formal platform from which to promote and advance the profession as mental health experts in policy, research and practice.

There is no better time than Social Work Week 2018 to start this conversation with your local MPP while offering your thanks for their support.
