Responsible for the overall management of the Association. Provides leadership in strategic planning, professional advocacy, program development, etc.

Associate Executive Director: Gillian McCloskey
Facilitates the achievement of goals in the areas of social advocacy and government relations. Responsible for the production of Social Work Now.

Manager, Administration & Services: Rita Mascherin
Oversees administrative and support services. Administers the sale of publications and coordinates planning for Social Work Week.

Membership Administrator: Christine Stibor
Maintains and updates membership records and financial data.

Communications Co-ordinator: Pina Simonetta
Provides co-ordination and administrative support for OASW communications, including Social Work Now.

Administrative Assistant: Anna Loi 
Co-ordinates the Job Search Initiative, Virtual Networking Groups, GoodLife Memberships, Find A Social Worker and More.

Joan MacKenzie Davies, MSW, Res.Dip.S.W., RSW,
 is currently the Executive Director of the Ontario Association of Social Workers (OASW). She has a Master's degree in Social Work from the Maritime School of Social Work and received a diploma in social work research from the University of Toronto.

Ms. MacKenzie Davies has a breadth of professional experience in clinical social work, management, teaching and consulting. For a number of years, she worked as a clinician, and later as a senior manager in clinical services. Prior to assuming her current position, she conducted a non-clinical practice in the area of program planning and development and in-service training.

As OASW Executive Director since 1992, Ms. MacKenzie Davies has led the Association through a pivotal period. Her commitment to the advancement of the interests of the social work profession, as well as her ability to identify issues and to shape and target resources, have enabled OASW under her leadership to respond effectively with pro-active social and professional advocacy initiatives and valuable membership services.
